The sacred work of planting trees in the Land of the Bible has been going on for more than a century - thanks to the sacrifices of Jewish pioneers and the hard work of the Jewish National Fund.  A US accredited non-profit organization, the Jewish National Fund (JNF) is the official caretaker of the Land of Israel and its forests on behalf of the entire Jewish people.

OVER THE LAST 100 YEARS THE JNF HAS PLANTED MORE THAN 240 MILLION TREES, THANKS TO THE GENEROSITY OF ITS DONORS.

As a result of this modern 'miracle' - Israel is the only country in the world that entered the 21st century with more trees that it had at the start of the 20th century.

In addition, the JNF has

• Developed more than 250,000 Acres of Land
• Built more than 180 Reservoirs & Dams
• Created more than 450 Parks
• Provided the infrastructure for over 1,000 communities
• Educated students around the world about Israel and the environment
